ATESO LANGUAGE AND REPETITIONS
Iteso are people who live in the Eastern Part of Uganda and some parts of Kenya. They speak the language "Ateso" and are believed to have migrated from Ethiopia. They are Nilotics and are sometimes referred to as Plane Nilotes because they live in the plane land(Their land is flat).
What do you need to know about the Ateso language?
The Ateso language is mostly composed of vowel letters and repetitions. Some of the repetitions may include;
Akituk- The word means cows, cattle, mouth but is pronounced differently to mean the three different words
Airi- Searching, Pulling
Itim- Hair, forgive
Elai-Clean, Beautiful
