So today I am feeling so down, I have even forgotten to say hello. Hello, I hope you are not feeling the way I am right now. Its a sad day for me, I just feel so low. By the way I am not experiencing writer's block. There are just so many things in my mind; financial, social etc.
Why am I here?
If you are a writer and you don't feel like writing anything, because you are having a bad day, then you got to share with me this solution. I picked up my laptop because I knew I had to share this with someone like me. It is hard to have a writer's bad day because you have a lot to do but just don't know what to do with it.
So how do you activate yourself when you are in a bad mood
1. Pick yourself up by force
Sometimes life is about the attitude that you show to yourself. You are down and you know it, sometimes people around you may not know because you just put that beautiful smile; a plastic one like the one I am having right now. By the way I am getting better because I picked up myself, ate a mango and I am now here
2. Change your location
People are very important in enhancing our mood. If I hadn't decided to stay around a colleague, I would have gone home and slept. After sometime you will feel better and write again
3. Find a distraction from your thought. Do something like styling your hair for a few minutes and then get back to what you wanted to write
4. Drink some water
Writers use their brains a lot because they think; water freshens your brain and makes it active again
5. Watch something funny.
Comedy relaxes your brain and makes it active again. If you have internet, then You-Tube or facebook will be best for you.
6. Pray
This should have been my first point. Sometimes the devil just loves putting us in a corner and that's why we have to pray so hard. Remember God will always answer.
